CriticalIQ is operated by Croi Digital & Design (sole trader), based in England & Wales. We provide an online platform at criticaliq.co.uk for UK financial advisers to compare protection insurance policies. Contact: hello@criticaliq.co.uk
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CriticalIQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
3. Who Can Use CriticalIQ
CriticalIQ is intended exclusively for authorised financial advisers, appointed representatives of FCA-authorised firms, and professional users researching protection insurance for business purposes. It is not intended for consumers seeking personal financial advice.
4. No Financial Advice
Nothing on CriticalIQ constitutes financial advice, a personal recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial product. Advisers remain solely responsible for the advice they provide to their clients and must comply with all applicable FCA regulations including COBS suitability requirements.
5. Data Accuracy
We take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy. However:
- Policy terms can change and there may be a delay before updates are reflected on the platform
- All data should be verified against the insurer's current policy documentation before being relied upon
- Premium estimates are illustrative only and not actual quotes
- Claims statistics are based on publicly available insurer data and may not reflect current performance
6. Client Data & Privacy
CriticalIQ is designed so that no client data leaves your browser. Any client references, ages, or profile information you enter into comparison forms or PDF report generators are processed entirely within your browser and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. 7. Free Access
CriticalIQ is provided completely free of charge for authorised UK financial advisers. All features are accessible without payment, subscription, or registration. There are no usage limits, no paid tiers, and no financial obligation of any kind.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on CriticalIQ — including the IQ scoring methodology, condition database, comparison algorithms, and website design — is our intellectual property or is used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of it without our prior written permission.
9. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute our database
- Do not share login credentials with others (when accounts are available)
- Do not misrepresent the source of our data in client communications
- Do not attempt to interfere with the platform's security or operation
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CriticalIQ and Croi Digital & Design shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to errors in data, incorrect comparisons, technical failures, or decisions made based on information provided by the platform.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
